    beardies won't eat?

Any info is appreciated, I'm not gonna get offended lol. I have 3 set ups already because I had them all separate in the beggining. Originally I only put the male in her cage for mating but when I would put him back in his own cage they would just lay up against they glass towards each other...

    Pooping out eggs.....

I'm curious to know how everything worked out with the eggs? They looked healthy from the picture. For her next batch in case she does the same thing, 1-2 eggs a day, when you shine a light on the egg there's a small thread of red veins and you want that facing up ;) would really like to know if...

    Breeding

Oh and the female stores sperm so she can have multiple clutches from only one encounter with the male and she will have her second clutch before you are done incubating the first one so you might want to have 2 incubators, or more if you plan on getting both females pregnant at the same time...

    Breeding

Do not put a male in with 2 females they will fight each other for him. If you want them both pregnant either let the male out of the cage with 1 female at a time or have 2 cages. Also once the females are pregnant don't house them together especially when It's time for the babies. When they are...

    Need some tail help

It happens when they house to many together, it's called tail nipping. Another beardie bit it off. As long as it has healed over and doesn't bother it you are fine. When she sheds just make sure that all the skin comes off the nub, you don't want dead skin to build up but otherwise nothing to...

Help for new owners, is my beardie ok?

This is my female and it's a little easier to see the dots, on the females they are lighter covered dots. In this pic you van actually see the dots lol, my male turns black when he's pissed at me ;)

Help for new owners, is my beardie ok?

I have noticed my females are much more dominant than my male so I agree he may not be getting to eat. I personally have my females separated from each other and I house my male with the more docile female and they share food very well. Sexing is tricky I will post a few pics that might help

    Tail missing over half!

I actually had to have my beardies tail partially amputated so your lucky it seems to have healed good on its own

    Tail missing over half!

Another beardie definitely bit it off, he should be fine but I agree about making sure it sheds all the way, here's a pic of mine who had the same thing happen. Larger pet stores like pet Co and pet smart tend to buy from breeders who house too many together and they get aggressive :(

    Worrying

It happens when they get irritated or anxious and also when their frisky if you have a female around ;)

How can I tell if diggy is hydrated??

If I think my beardie is dehydrated I give them a bath, when they get in the water they puff up and start breathing heavier which I have been told is them soaking up water. One of my females will drink a little from her bath if she's sitting in my hand but after bathing they are back to their...

    Puffing up

Luke when they puff up like that they are soaking up the water to get hydrated. Mine barely drink water from their bowls but almost every bath they puff up and just float. If you watch you will see them breathing noticeably because they are basically drinking through their skin ;)
