    Dont worry too much about it. The hissing wont hurt your baby as it is just a concentrated amount of air being pushed out of his lungs. Don't give up on him! As he is a baby he might not have been handled all that much in the past. Let him get acclimated and see that youre not a threat!

    That is what my young beardie looks like right before she is going to shed. After she sometimes has had small patches of like that in the past that she had trouble with. I always compare it to wet powder sugar! After a few soaks though it normally comes right off.
