    New terrarium build

I'm in the process of building two enclosures now. With the process as long as it is and the expense as great as it is, I would hate to have to rebuild them. Knowing myself, I would look for a way to add on the existing enclosures rather than building new from scratch. Sent from my iPhone...

    Building a New Enclosure

Thanks Patsy. That might make the enclosure heavy. My main concern is with crickets which I've decided I'll no longer use as feeders. To this point, I have only been feeding them crickets and supers. I'll do roaches instead of crickets. As with the supers, there's no worry about them getting...

    New terrarium build

Due to his size, it looks like he would have a hard time turning around to get back down from his basking spot. I noticed you have two lights in addition to your uvb. I figure one is the heat lamp; is the other for additional heat?

    Building a New Enclosure

To add to my original post, what I am hoping for is something that I can add to the grout to make certain areas to smooth or slick for the feeders to climb.Something that will give said areas a "glass-like" finish. Thanks again.

    Building a New Enclosure

Hello all, so I've already framed out my two enclosures for my beardies, Bailey and Kai. Next step is to add the styrofoam so that I can start shaping and grouting it. However, I don't want to use styrofoam and grout for the sides and back. My fear is that my feeders would be able to scale the...

I couldn't do that around my way without some sort of enclosure. Too many birds of prey.

Please help building a new vivarium

Check out Dennis Knowles he has a very good tutorial on an enclosure he built. You may also want to the very first thread it's titled "Building Mt. Mungi". Definitely a good one.

    Greetings

I have already noticed Bailey asserting himself as the alpha. As you stated, Kai barely eats or moves while Bailey is gobbling everything in the tank. Though infrequent, he nips at Kai. Have you noticed a substantial increase in your electric bill? Thanks for the info.

    New terrarium build

Good to know bro. I never considered that there might be beardie safe cleaner. I've always heard bleach and water. I was planning on building all of my landscape so that everything would be removable. That no longer has to be the case. Thanks again bro.

    New terrarium build

What's up bro? Props to you for an awesome build. I plan to do something similar. My enclosure will be 4x2x2 as well. The only thing is I didn't frame it out first. Hopefully that won't present any problems down the road. My question is regarding cleaning. With everything being grouted...
