He's doing really well. He's still not the most lovey dragon, but he's healthy and thriving. We have plenty of time to work on bonding and cuddles.

My handsome Mushu is doing quite well. He seems to prefer basking on his pillow, as opposed to sleeping on it, he likes to sleep in the most uncomfortable positions on his tree haha.
He's due for a temporary rehoming into a 40 gallon while I pond line his enclosure. Keeping the painted wood...
Hey all! A little update on baby Chance.
He's eating like a little piggy, and showing some noticeable growth as well. He even went to the bathroom by himself yesterday, which is a big step forward for him. He's come a long way from where he was when he first arrived :) I'm so proud of this...
Hey everyone, I'm sorry I've been away for some time now. I thought now would be a great time to hop back on and share the good news. Ruby is now CANV free :) Her energy is up and her appetite has doubled. This little gal is doing great, and loving cuddle time, especially since medication is no...
The tip of the tail is definitely necrotic, but it looks like his body is isolating it. The tip will fall off after some time. Keep an eye on it and keep it clean. If it continues to spread any further, you'll need to set an appointment with a vet.

I'm so sorry! I've been following your little girls for some time now and this just breaks my heart. Blinky was so blessed to have had you in her life. How is Dinky handling it?

I use calcium without D3 all the time. As long as UVB bulbs are replaced at the proper intervals, our dragons can synthesize their own D3 as they need it. The frightening thing, is that hypercalcemia presents with the same symptoms as hypocalcemia. When I start to see a yellow tint to urates, I...
For day one, that's a pretty good amount of food. His appetite should pick up after a few days and in a week or two he should be settled in completely.
If you like to let the bugs run around so he can catch them, a feeding container works well. I tong feed in the enclosure so I know exactly...
Try tong feeding the insects to him. It's easy to spook the wee babies, and tong feeding takes away from the rapid movement of the insects. I tong feed, which makes it easy to keep track of what they eat and prevents leaving free roaming feeders behind in the tank.

Oh my goodness, he really is a big handsome guy! He could use to lose some weight, but he looks fantastic otherwise :) Your boy makes my kids look quite small.

The male may not fully regain use of his back legs, but he should be able to get around just fine. You're on the right track with husbandry and getting good food into them. You can also try offering water via a plastic eye dropper to help with hydration, I suspect the firm stool is related to...
You definitely have a big boy! Beardies grow at different rates and I can't really say that there's an average you should expect to see. It sounds like he's thriving, and that's all that matters.
If he's chunky, cut back on his insects a bit, but give him all the greens his little heart...
I can't view the video, but my default for issues like this is to schedule with an experienced exotics vet. Respiratory infections are potentially serious, and some issues look like RIs but are completely unrelated. Best to have a good vet take a look and get your baby fixed up.
