    Beardie thinks temp gun is food

    Anyone else have a dragon that does this? Every time I measure temps he runs over and starts biting at the yellow tip xD I think he thinks it's fruit or something yummy. One of these days I'll have to make a video.

    I used nano-reef.com when I had saltwater fish and they were all very nice and helpful over there. Don't have any advice for freshwater though

    I'll have to try this. I really like the idea of it. I didn't know some reptiles couldn't see water. I'm new to beardies, I've mostly been a snake person till fairly recently.

    I'd disagree with this. Just yesterday I was reading about a study that claimed no reptile actually absorbs water through their skin. In the wild beardeds are eating succulent plants, which are very high in water content, and get it that way. We don't usually feed these types of plants though so...
