    Sick Bearded Dragon -

Well Anne, keep up the good work :) Take it all into account. I gave you the info that helped my baby, and she had multi-system/organ issues, and even coded on me at the worst of it. I know the 2 don’t totally correlate but being an ICU RN for 15 years, I know a bit about general physiology...

    Sick Bearded Dragon -

At first before I got a hold of the critical care I tried integrating the baby food with things and she wouldn’t have it, she didn’t like the baby foods. The critical care she took much better and factually it’s much better for them than human baby food, most baby foods believe it or not have a...

    Sick Bearded Dragon -

Hi Anne, glad to hear Spike is still hanging on :) The warm water soaks a few times a day will help more than a hot water bottle. The baths should be warm to the touch and rewarmed as it gets cool. You should be adding Reptisafe water treatment to all water for your baby. It actually has a...

    Sick Bearded Dragon -

Anne, I hope Spike is improving. When my beardie Cinna was ill, and I didn’t know what was wrong with her, she had a gradual increase of diff symptoms. I didn’t know and neither did the herp vet, but he sure tortured her and gave her meds that made her sicker than she started off. I did my...

Also in addition, for the wounds before putting in the reptaid, when they were open, I aseptically cleaned them with a betadine solution, then the treatment with reptaid and Manuka honey.

    Beardie back legs not working?

My beardie had something very similar with the paralysis, but worse. Never any sand substrate, but she did develop weird swelling in beard and then the leg paralysis thing after. She also had some yellow areas, and a darkening wound on her left hind leg. She also lost the 1/8 inch end of her...

    Beardie with neck edema...help?!?

Thanks. This am after her soak I could feel something in the swelling, she's been eating celery, and it feels like a small stick of it that didn't go down right... the leg still not sure but she was in and out of her water bowl a lot last week and so maybe was slippery. Coincidence I think.

    Beardie with neck edema...help?!?

My beardie Cinna is about 1 1/2yo. 2 days ago I noticed her beard is huge compared to normal. She was warm and lethargic and didn't want to eat. I gave her a rehydration soak and the lethargy went away, and later that day she ate a few mealworms, but no greens. Her beard is blackish and soft...
