Hey guys,
I just wanted to share my tip. Discoid roaches are a great type of roach to breed because they don't fly and aren't really that fast. I live in Florida, so discoid roaches are an option for me (unlike dubia). But I have been very pleased.
Dog food and cat food are not good things to mix in.
they are low in calcium, high in phosphorus, goitrogens or oxalates
high in animal protein which can cause a uric acid build up in your bearded dragons and then lead to gout.
also usually has some preformed vitamin A and D, so you have to...
If you don't see a spider, it's mold from the fresh veggiees being left in too long. If you cap the container, the humidity will cause mold to grow on the oatmeal.
Had one crawl on me while I was sleeping. A superworm got out of my chams cage somehow, morphed into a beetle, and made its way to my room. I bombed the house and have never used superworms again lol
Check how to breed dubia roaches. The only problem with breeding outside is mites. The shed should be fine. But add mite paper to the bottom of the bin
My trick is to put worms with the veggies and have her eat the veggies on accident. Then they will get use to eating veggies. That is how I got my beardie to eat veggies.
