Oscar. Just found out last month that Oscar is a female. Sometimes I call her OscarElla but my daughter doesn't want to change Oscar's name because she is almost 5years old, she is used to the name.
Those beetles look too much like roaches. I couldn't have those in my house. No way. I know the dubias are really good for Beardies but I just can't go there.
OscarElla like spinich and kale. She loves fruit. Mangoes, apples, and she also eats red, orange, and yellow peppers, yellow squash and zucchini. Butternut, acorn, and spaghetti squashes are really good for them.
I thought my Beardie was a male but now I have 4 eggs. I put them in a plastic container and covered with sand. I have a heat lamp on them and misted the sand with water. What else should I do? First time beardie grandma. [emoji7] So I realize that these eggs are probably infertile necessary...
I have caught Simba in Oscar's tank before. He is declawed so I don't worry about him to much but Oscar didn't seem to care. It's funny though because Simba is very curious about Oscar but usually not very comfortable around him.
