Hi everyone, great news, the egg I thought had perished. It collapsed and it blackened. I transferred it into another incubator by itself, to test it. The thermostat must be faulty, as it was set to a temperature of 29°C. But rose to 34°C. The egg was as described above. As soon as I noted the temperature spike I placed it back with the other eggs. I am sure an egg is being pierced by an egg 5ooth and one is now upright. I am unsure if the first one is disturbing its siblings. I am unsure when to take this one outside its incubator, it is very tiny, even for a Pogona Minor. Its not a Dwarf Pogona Minor Minor, But a hybrid of a Barbata Species and a Pogona Minor. all the remaining seven eggs are in pristine condition. I think it is a bad idea to try to make an incubator here in Australia, unless its got a cooling system like the one im using. I was worried that if Ebony's had another clutch, there would be no room. I must try and buy one with a cooling function soon. Thus is the first hatching from Ebony's first clutch of 2020 this season eggs laid 68 days ago hatching. it was 26th September she laid them. I hope to see them all hatch.
