Swollen beard/neck

hi, I need some help I think my dragon spud’s throat or beard is swollen and not sure what to do about it. He hasn’t had any injuries and he ate his live food yesterday although a little slower than normal and from what I can tell he’s eating his greens. All his temps are as they should be. He let me touch it and didn’t flinch so I don’t think it’s hurting him it feels quite soft. I have attached the best photos I could get he wasn’t being very helpful and kept moving his head to look at me.

Was is swollen before or after he ate his food? Sometimes they store their food in their gullet before they swallow it. He might be doing that here. If it's still swollen you will need to take him to a vet for bloodwork. He could have an abscess or something else going on.

Hi, thank u I think this must have been what it was as it was after food and it seems ok this morning and he’s eaten like normal when I fed him this morning I will keep an eye on it and if it comes back I will pop him to the vet and get it checked

Just make sure all is food is appropriate sized. My friends dragon did this last week and ended up spitting his food out. He had a big wad of greens stored in his gullet!
