Hi,

I absolutely love learning about specific species and animals. I think learning the proper husbandry and care is important. Typically, I do research even when not getting an animal. However, it is kind of important when dealing with wanting to rescue unwanted animals.

Especially , when being offered to take on a rescue. Who has MBD and will need lots of care/help. To get strong...unfortunately, I am still unsure if I would be able to pick him up. With the corona virus in my area and not having the proper supplies at the moment. I just really have been staying in contact with the owner. To keep up to date about the little guy. He is still pretty young and was rescued from someone else that wasnt taking care of him. (I do have a reptile specialist vet in my area and would plan on taking him. He still has pretty good movement. So, maybe with some soaks, extra vitamins, a Good UVA/UVB Light , and depending on how bad. I would get him injected or continue with a liquid form of calcium)

My other Reptile is a Crestie named Gollum. Who is a juvenile and really made me realize how awesome Reptiles actually are. I made the plunge to get him back in the Fall. I have many experience with smaller Parrots, Rodents, Dogs, Cats, Farm Animals, and Many different types of Rescue Horses to everything else. I just love helping people and animals :)
