Hello, we’re new to this forum and to life as dragon parents! We planned to take advantage of a sale on reptile supplies at our local large chain pet store before purchasing from a breeder, but we met a dragon at the pet store with incredible energy and temperament and had to bring it home. We believe we have a male dragon but it’s too early to say for sure, he’s around 5 inches but has been has been eating like crazy, ~15 crickets a day and sometimes kale too!! His tail has become white and we are getting ready for him to shed for the first time in our care.

We have no information on what his parents looked like, given where we bought him, but he has some intriguing yellow and coral/pink color hues. I’ve heard that brighter colors can come out as a baby dragon gets older and I was wondering if anyone who’s seen a lot of baby dragons knows what he could look like as he has a shed and grows!

What a cutie! I have no thoughts on color as I am still a new beardie owner as well, but your little one and my little one look a lot alike
