I've read about many of the different behaviors of beardies and what they might mean, but mine did a few pushups today and I can't find anything about it. Can anyone enlighten me?
Thanks!
I've never heard of a bearded dragon doing pushups... But other lizards usually do it to display dominance, show-off their territory or impress females.
Sounds like head bobbing - did he see another dragon or his reflection - its part of the mating season and head bobbing is a sign of dominance -- arm waving is submission

He's the one and only dragon. It happened several times in a row when I was feeding him. Maybe it was a head bob and I was mistaken but it sure looked like his entire upper half of his body was bouncing. Pretty comical actually!
