I've had my bearded dragon for a little of 18 months and I'm finding he's lethargic and doesn't move much when inside of his cage but when I take him out he runs around and is extremely active. I replace his ceramic heat lamp yesterday because I thought it might've been that but not much has changed. His cage is currently at 34.5c. Could I please have some help I'm worried !!

Your dragon needs a clear bright white basking bulb ceramic heat emitters do not start digestion you need to get this ASAP --- something like this https://www.amazon.com/Exo-Terra-In...7&sprefix=Ext+Terra+basking+b,aps,195&sr=8-28 I dont know what size tank you have but you need a wattage that keeps the surface basking temp 95-100 F --- I would start w/ a 100 watt but you MUST HAVE a digital probe thermometer https://www.amazon.com/Zoo-Med-Digi...s=Zoo+Med+digital+probe&qid=1638371156&sr=8-4 ---- 2 of them for your basking side and one for the cool side -- and a good UVB NO coils --- I recommend this for a UVB since your in the UK
https://www.reptiles.swelluk.com/arcadia-prot5-kit-desert-12 you need a 24" fixture for a 40+ gallon tank --
Your dragon is getting NO UV w/ the ceramic heat emitter --- they are for temps at nite when the tank is falling below 65 F ---- please get this fixed ASAP --- let me know when you get the UVB I will help you place it in your tank
how tall is your tank ?

This is his tank. We usually have some logs in there too but we took them out yesterday to give him so extra room to move around. We have a UV light too and the digital thermometer already but thank you for the idea!

Please raise the basking bulb up it should not be closer than 6" and a piece of decor should be underneath w/ a basking surface of 95-100-- your clear bright white bulb will give uv -- I see no uvb your dragon will not live w/out a uvb- and at this time he is developing mbd he may not show it now but one day he will stop eating and may start walking funny or start w/ seizures

ok, here's some photos :)
Please get rid of the coil this a good reason your dragon is lethargic- these bulbs are inadequate- please change your lighting out to what I posted earlier- he will continue to get sick - these things I have posted are imperative to his overall health and behavior-- when you get the uvb please post on here and I will help you get it set up for the tank distance and placement is crucial and will depend on the screen
