How long to keep the lights on?

How long should I keep the lights on? I usually turn on the lights at 6:30-7:00 when I get up. He’s very active and playful during the day. Loves to get out and explore. Come around 5pm he’s laying around like this. Just wondering if I’m cutting into sleep time.

12 hrs on and 12 hrs off -- do not feed less than 2-3 hrs before lights off
