I have been looking online for an answer but can’t really find one if you have a bearded dragon that is sick can he go into shed? Is it a good sign if a sick bearded dragon goes into shed

Shedding is related to growth, so if your beardie is growing, shedding is to be expected. When you ask about sickness, what's wrong with him/what sort of illness/is it vet-diagnosed?

I had an extremely sick beardie who had a stomach infection & 3 different types of worms and he still shed when it was time

He unfortunately passed away due to a bad reaction to the final deworming the vet never had any concern that he was shedding while sick so I think that is normal. BUT I do suggest for anyone with sick beardies, please take them to the vet. He will most likely need antibiotics and if you notice him/her seem to get worse, stop the medicine RIGHT AWAY because they will have a different type to try. I think Reptar could have been alright had I stopped the final dewormer earlier:(

I will check out the website! I don't really think it's the vets fault only because he had been EXTREMELY neglected before I rescued him & the first 4 vet appointments went really well & he was doing much better (except he had issues with his back legs he was going to maybe need surgery on as his glands got badly impacted and were so hard on this inside that soaking him wasn't doing anything) but he had hook worms which were the most detrimental & we were able to get rid of those, and the stomach infection and when I took him back to what I thought would be his final appointment we found out he had 2 different types of worms that weren't seen the first time due to the amount of hook worms he had. Deworming for 1 went totally fine, and then the 2nd one was a 5 day on, 5 off, 5 on, and he just started declining and stopped eating so after the first 5 days I took him to the vet and unfortunately it was too late. I regret more than anything not stopping after the second day of that dewormer but I didn't think it was life or death because he had been doing so good. But I do think the vet did everything they could. (I took him to vet that has a reptile specialist & they seemed like they knew a lot at least)
