Bearded Dragon (Jeff) is it okay for him to sleep in bed with me at night?

My Bearded Dragon is about 2 months old and he loves running around the room and cuddling with my husband and I. I am a first time owner and at night after I let him run around he doesn't want to be put back in his home. I was wondering at the age he is is it okay for him to sleep in the bed with me at night?

I wouldn't do it at any age. There are too many unknowns when you are sleeping you can't keep an eye on what he does and you can't control what you do.

We have a friend who took a short nap with her dragon and she accidentally rolled over on her. The dragon couldn't wiggle out from under her and she didn't feel it, and it suffocated :( It's not worth the risk.

Yes PLEASE don't sleep with them in your bed.. our friend is soo heart broken over this accidental nap and the loss of her scaly girl.. :( It really isn't worth the risk even if you think it won't happen to you. They are perfectly happy sleeping on your chest before bedtime or lights out for them, then letting them sleep safely in their tank..

I am so sorry to hear that. I wasn't sure if it was okay or not being a new owner.
Right when I go to put him to be he tries to crawl back up my arm or nuzzles his self in my hand. Is this normal?

He's just showing that he likes you and comfortable with you, that's a good thing. If you want you can tuck him into his cage with a soft baby blanket or towel. I know some bearded dragons like that sort of thing.

Well that's definitely good to hear. I will look into getting him a blanket.
