This is the second from last baby to hatch and its got the egg sac still attached but wrapped right round its belly :( iv put it on a damp tissue in a seperate box to the rest but is still gettin the heat. Its still moving around and trying to get out of the box, seems like a little fighter :)
I was just wondering is there anything i can do to help the little one?

It's still pretty active although it's got that attached to it! The egg has started to go yellow now which I read was a good sign of the egg dying! No i tryed but it started to bleed so I left it! Fingers crossed it'll be fine :)

That band around the body is not going to grow at the baby does. In 7 years I have dealt with this 2 times. The 1st time I kept it moist and it never came off. The baby didnt make it.
The 2nd one I gently VERY VERY gently cut the band then let it fall off.

The baby is still alive :) the egg died and i managed to cut that off then i went out for the day and my mum said the baby has been very active :) i came home to find the band to be white so i managed to break it apart but where the band has been so tight its as though its still stuck to its back.. but it is still going yellowy white.. so hopefully it will fall off soon! the baby is tireed and is having a nap after its ordeal!

TheWolfManTom.. Did the baby that survive have any problems with digestsion or anything?
Thank you all for your help and advice!
