We have just gotten a 6 week old mini pig last week. We have read a lot on how to acclimate it to us as it was a free range piglet and never held by people. He’s held several hrs a day, eats only from our hands, and is petted a lot. But, he still is scared of us. He runs and bites when we go to pet/pick him up. He constantly squeals when we hold him. Any help would be appreciated.

I was looking through the old threads and just saw this. is your pig friendly now? We own pigs, and if you still have troubles, I'd be happy to help. we own pigs, chickens, goats, dogs, ducks, cats, parakeets, a gecko, of course a bearded dragon, a variety of large insects including a female desert hairy tarantula, a whip scorpion, BSFs, and a colony of madagascar hissing roaches.
