55 gallon tank?

Based on what your saying you have one that only holds 2 regular heat bulbs. You will probably have to get another fixture to hold the long UVB tube. Once you update and get a bigger tank buy the one that is the combo hood that will hold heat bulbs AND uvb tube bulb.

Yes and Yes, but why are you spending all that money on a petstore fixture, when most likely your local hardware store carries the same thing for a great deal less ?

Just look up "fixture", "light fixture", flourescent fixture..something along those lines should work.
