No, he is sleeping there, not basking. I’m not someone who needs care tips for bearded dragons lol
T5 10.0 HO fluorescent bulbs work through screens and reach his basking spot. It is misinformation to tell people otherwise.
Chlorohexidine is your best option. It’s what doctors use to sanitize their hands before surgery. It will kill everything, it doesn’t have a harsh smell, and it’s safe if ingested. You can find it on amazon :)
I hope things are going well for Lily during her first brumation!
Temps are fine - His basking and UVB bulbs are relatively new and I check regularly with a temp gun.

Hi everyone!
I have a young bearded dragon -- he's about 5 month's old. He's been in and out of brumation for almost a month now. He eats sometimes, but not every day. Whenever he's awake I give him a warm bath and he poops. I bought him some hornworms for when he's awake to get him...

Hi everyone! I've really enjoyed my time here so far and I have created this thread to solicit your opinions and thoughts. Thanks in advance to anyone who contributes!
After six months of research and preparing, my wife and I got our first bearded dragon. This is my first reptile and the...
