Thanks for the feedback! Very helpful! I will definitely place an order for Dubia’s. I’ve fed him dubia before and he really likes them. I’ll have to venture into the other types of work a that you mentioned as I’ve not fed those before. But certainly will start. I’ll keep you posted.
Thanks!
Hello,
Cheese is a hypo zero leatherback, and was hatched on 8-12-19. So he’s 7 months old, and weighs 136 grams. Seems like everywhere I read most beardies are in the 160+ gram range at this age. He eats fine, and the the temps and everything are perfect.
I feed him around 6-10 super worms...
I wake up at 5:45am. I turn his lights on at 6am.. so I’ll start feeding him at 4, then lights out at 6pm.
I also leave greens in his bowl for him to eat during the day while I’m at work.
So, I’ve read on a post to stay away from superworms. But, I’ve read elsewhere that superworms are a great feeder bug for beardies. I’m confused, to feed or not to feed superworms? Thanks.
I was wondering with all the different morphs that are available out there. Has anyone ever seen a solid black Beardie? I think that would be a beautiful animal!
Thanks. And I’m glad that you mentioned about the length. My enclosures dimensions are 36x18x18. I was going to go with the 30”, but from what you’re suggesting, I should instead go with the 24”?
