Im pretty sure the worms can be kept in the fridge, it will slow them down and stop them from pupating too. Not sure about the roaches though, they like the heat, extreme cold could kill them or just stop them growing...need another opinion on that
Mealworms are ok in the fridge, but superworms can die from too cold temps, it's kinda unnecessary anyway as they won't pupate unless isolated. Phoenix worms can't handle anything below 50 degrees F for too long either, but they're just fine for quite some time at room temperature with nothing to eat (they won't pupate either if you don't feed them)
