My great nephew is 2 1/2 and he LOVES my dragon Dexter so I bought him this for his birthday last summer along with the veiled chameleon. He loves them and carries them around the house. The dragon isn't a dragon, he calls it "Dekkers" because all bearded dragons are called "Dekkers", it's so cute.
Just wanted to remind you that red lights are very bad for a bearded dragons eyes. During the day it doesn't allow their pupils to constrict and can burn their retinas. At night a red light casts shadows over their head and makes them think that predators are out to get them.
