Feeding dead crickets

Hi I have had some problems with my crickets dying quickly too , so I was wondering if it is ok to feed my baby bearded dragon the dead crickets.I do gut
ut loaded my crickets and also they do have a water source and they do well with that but I always have a few that still die. I called Petsmart and asked them they said it was okay but I just don't trust them.

also wondering if it is okay to leave the crickets in a dark environment or do I have to have them out in the sunlight too?

NO.

Don't feed them the dead crickets. I am currently having to deal with parasite in my girl Jade. Because of this.

I have been told by my vet that dead insects can cause this.

I never intentionally feed dead ones to her but occasionally there are some when I grab them to feed my girl.

So NO be safe and don't feed DEAD anything to it.

I think that's fine. I would actually not put them in direct sunlight. You run the risk of temps going up, and crickets can die really quickly with temperature fluctuations.

I leave mine in a plastic bin with clear tape around inside halfway down. So they can't get past it. Cut big hole in lid with a screen on top for ventilation and keep them in the basement.
