Hello all! I'm new to the forum...obviously. I'm not entirely sure how these things work, so bear with me if my posts seem a bit screwy. :p
My name is Amber. I work in a doggy daycare that is attached to a veterinary hospital! It's a very exciting job! I own one three year old dog--a Bluetick Coonhound named Saidee, three cats--Tater, Corona and Priscilla. A painted turtle named Quincy, and of course my newest addition, Norbert, my baby beardie! I am unsure of Norbert's age. Or his gender. I am not sure if he is old enough for me to tell. He is about 7 1/2 inches long and LOVES to eat. I've had him for about two weeks now and love him to bits. I'd be totally okay if he turned out to be a she because I actually named him after Hagrid's dragon hatching, Norbert, from my favorite series. Harry Potter! In the book, Norbert actually turns out to be a girl. :) Here are some photos of my handsome guy. Click on the photo to enlarge it. I'm still trying to figure out how to attach photos properly, I guess. :p

He loves to perch himself on my shirt. He will sit there for hours. :)

Thank you for the nice welcome, you guys! I will be sure to post more photos of Norbert as he grows. I'm sure I'll be asking a lot of weird questions, but that's because I'm a first time beardie mom who gets concerned about every little thing. Even though I shouldn't...hehe. Just want the best for my little guy...or girl.

My current beardie is my second one and there is always new things to learn about them. Your little guy, or girl, is very cute :) I got my first beardie when he was about 5 months old and he was the most playful adorable little guy, my current one is 4 years old I think, I rescued him, but hes still playful and loves attention. Good luck on your new adventures of beardie land and welcome to the forum, I'm new too and I love this forum so far :)

Thanks, you guys! Like I said, I don't know Norbert's age, but he is close to 8 inches now. Is it too early to tell if my little Norbie is a boy or a girl?

I like to wait until they're older, but some say you can do it right away. Check out the link Germ posted for you, they have a teensey little guy in there they sexed.
